Q & A
What did you want to grow up to be when you were a kid?
I always liked statistics and computers when I was I kid, so therefore my goal was to study computer engineering. However, with time I realize that my passion is to communicate with people and to bring a good user experience.
What do you do at Blox?
I’m in charge of the Customer Support department. To solve users’ queries and to be the bridge between members and the R&D team is one of my main task. Also, from time to time, I try to create marketing videos and creatives since it’s also one of my main hobbies.
What’s the coolest thing you’re working on right now?
Since Blox is growing every day, our Customer Support procedures need to do the same. It could sound boring, but for me it’s really exciting to be able to improve the company workflow regarding new retail users and organizations. The first impression is always essential, so every user needs to feel we are here for them. It is easy to say, but not to achieve.
What do you like about working at Blox?
I’ve always worked in big companies and to have the chance to be part of a start up is something I have never experienced before. The feeling that you are part of a family and not just another link of the chain is abslutely amazing. Every person is always free to suggest and think outside the box, even if it is not something related to his/her matter of expertise.
What are the values that drive you?
For me, nothing is more important in this life that constancy. It doesn’t matter how good you are or how hard you try. If you are not constant, you won’t make it.
What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?
I like sport betting and to hang out. I’m Spanish, so a good beer and an outstanding ‘tapa’ while I’m with friends is something that I enjoy a lot. Oh, and Netflix!
Tell us something we don’t know?
I have a YouTube channel with more than 25k subscribers.
If you could sit for lunch with anyone on the planet (present/future/past), who would that be and why?
Leonardo Da Vinci. To have a talk with someone as creative as he was, would be amazing. Some people didn’t belong to the time they were and it would be so interesting to understand his mindset and to tell him how important he has become in our time.
